  1. I was adding detail to a wiki from other websites and links. I was switching back and forth between tabs. I inadvertently closed the open wiki tab and lost my work. It would be helpful to have an auto save features or button where you can save work prior to submitting. You can save data by submitting, but that means you have to open and edit the wiki again. It would be nice to have this feature so you don't lose your work prior to submitting. Thanks.

    • a 'backlog' view where you can see all To-Do's that have not been linked to a milestone


    • Kanban view per milestone, if I create a milestone and got 30 to-do's linked to them, I want to be able to click on my milestone which will open a Kanban view, that contains only the linked to-do's


    Milestones need to look like To-Dos, where To-Do groups are Milestones with progress bar (https://freedcamp.uservoice.com/forums/126945-suggestions-for-features/suggestions/6700230-milestone-progress-bar), priority etc, with options to drag and drop tasks between milestones and ability to slide unassigned task on bottom or right side to be able to drop these…

  2. That way if a project gets put on hold (say for 2 weeks), all related milestones, to-dos, etc would be automatically pushed back 14 days, without having to go into each to-do and milestone individually.

  3. Zapier is an Integration platform that allows you to easily integrate with several other applications. Most the ideas listed around Application Integrations would be covered with a Zapier integration.

  6. When receiving an email in GMail, it would be great to be able to just click a button which adds a task to Freedcamp.

    Some sort of similar functionality to the "Add to Tasks" button in GMail, but with options to assign to a certain project, plus all the other usual to-do options.

    Could be implemented via an extension in Chrome/Firefox or something like that. Or could google enable it through a labs feature?

  8. It would useful to have "last comment by X" next to the "Comment (x)".

    This would greatly help to see quickly if there is a comment to a to-do item made by some one else. And the "last comment by X" would link directly to its respective comment on the to-do item page.

    That way if you see your own name, you know there is no new comment from some one else. Or you can jump right away to it.

  9. Sometimes after I have worked for a while I see I have completed multiple todos or I make a kind of short list in the active todo tab for things I want to finish today. At other times I want to archive completed todos to a sub group I have created. In these cases it would be very nice to have an option to edit to-dos in bulk.

    This could be done by selecting multiple to-dos and drag, or a pop-up menu asking me what I want to do with the selection. I'd prefer the first when I want to…

    This feature is part of our tasks page redesign, which is now available in List and Kanban view. You can switch to it by clicking the cogwheel icon and selecting “New Tasks Beta > Switch”

    The Bulk Edit option will be at the top of the page, next to the filters.

  10. For people who don't login and review their assignments, once a task has gone past its due date there's nothing to bring it back into their mind.

  11. Connect Gmail and send emails directly via freedcam.
    Same for google contacts.

    It will be awesome to get these features in freedcamp...

  12. Often times we have clients that do not log into Freedcamp, but we still manage the project within Freedcamp.

    We would like to be able to create users without email addresses. This would allow us to add a 'dummy' user to the system and assign tasks to them. We would then be able to export our todos and provide status/project updates to our clients.

  13. When you are in your dashboard and there has been changes you do not realize about them unless you refress the page...

    Same happens with the tasks, When you are working in one task and there is a new comment, you do not realize about it unless you refresh the page.

    Some ideas:


    • every 10 seconds, if the page is inactive, it refresh automatically

    • Put a button in the dashboard and in the tasks to refresh the page

    • Put a notification that there is something new. So that if the user wants he can decide to clic to see the…

  14. an app/function can calculate the word-count automatically after a to-do is posted. We need the function for assigning translating tasks. For the moment, we need to use Word first for counting the words, then post it. Would be nice to have it handy on Freed.

  18. I would like the ability to archive Project Groups. I use project groups for individual clients. When I'm done all projects for a client, I'd like to archive the Client by archiving the Project Group. When I have new projects for that client, I would just the Project Group active again.

  19. I often need to share information about the status of a project to people who are not logged in. It would be great with a public link like in Google Docs or the like.
