  1. It would be great to be able to customize the embeddable issue reporter widget in code level. There are some suggestions below:

    Custom label names or i18n translation for form labels:

    We don't need sophisticated i18n features, but probably simple options for setting label names would be sufficient for now.

    Default title or body prefix:

    Default value is powerful since it can prefix title or body as customized templates. And it can be used as additional contexts of when and where an issue is reported, so issues can be dealt efficiently.

  2. It would be great to have sorting and grouping options for the task lists in the iOS app. The current task listing in the iOS app is fixed to group by projects, which makes it hard to check open issues across all projects.

    My personal wish would be to somehow get a global ToDo list in the app, similar to what is offered in the "My tasks" web widget. This allows to check the list of urgent things as part of the morning routine.

  3. I would like to show my team how much work I do that goes unnoticed by them. Therefore it would be great to have a user reputation score.

    Every time you create a task or subtask, you earn a bit of reputation. Every time you complete a task, you earn even more reputation. Every time you complete a task assigned to you by someone else, you earn the most reputation. Etc.

    This would really extra motivate people and create a huge value proposition for Freedcamp since many competitors lack this. Would be unique selling point.

    Thanks for posting it!

    We are playing with this score (already developed and calculating) for a while now internally. Were thinking even to post anonymous all Freedcamp users score board where everyone can see him/herself but not others, own spot in rating and thing to do to climb above.

  4. Total daily time spent on all projects...
    When you guys send out that email with daily activity, it would be great to have in there the total number of hours spent per day included with the email. I have a lot of different clients and projects because of my freelance work. Sometimes I have a lot of activities that are 15 minutes and I log those. If I work a ten hour day that's a lot of stuff. I'd like to see a time tally for all of the time spent on all of the projects every day.

  5. With the up and coming Android app that is being funded on Kickstarter, I would really like to see Google Now/Google Assistant integration so I can put in or speak something along the lines of...

    "Add a task to _"

    ...and have it added to the most recent project, or perhaps be able to choose which one. I know other to-do list apps have this functionality and I think it would be very beneficial to Freedcamp.

    Here is a link describing the kind of integration I desire.

  6. It would be nice that, instead of leaving the back color of the name tags grey, they could be colored (just like the Priority tag) so it's more immediate to see which task is assigned to whom. Right now it gets a bit blended with the due date and between the name tags.

    I don't think it needs consistency beyond the project (like having each user its "own" color, which sounds very silly and impractical).
    Perhaps havign a set color for the creator-administrator of the project/task could be of some use.
    And it would need to avoid the colors already…

  8. I haven´t found a way to list my tasks by project name using the search box. For example, all tasks from projects with "design" in the title. Currently, it can only find strings in the task description, so I must copy and paste project title in every task created. It would be great to filter the task list by project group too.

    For example, if you type on tasks Board in search: ptitle::design
    - it will only search in projects with the name including 'design'

  9. Would be so useful to have some projects be renewed, for example I have a morning routine project. Would love to have it set as a new project for each day automatically. So renew in one day, or renew in one week, or more.

    Sorry, we will kt be looking into implementing recurring projects unless this will be voted by a few 100’s of our users.

    We are working on recurring tasks which may contain subtasks but not projects.

  10. Hi! It would be cool to have workspaces. Like right now I have private and work projects groups, it would be cool to show it on a different page (just like red booth, i have screenshots).

    We are already working now on a new concept called Dashboards that will support the Summary widget (pie, bar, battery, or card output), Table, and Buttons widgets. Essentially dashboards are custom reports and you can create as many dashboards as you need with as many widgets with drag and drop capability to set your perfect layout. Eventually, Dashboards will supersede the Widgets page. Dashboards can be private, shared with all team members (new members will see it too) or selected team members. Initially, dashboards will be added to the Enterprise plan.

  12. We usually estimate a project by how much time we will spend on it. It wold be great to be able to add a total amount of time estimated next to the total time used. It would be even better if then it shows you how much time you have left to complete the project.
    This should be a relatively simple feature to add but would make a big difference to tracking projects.

  15. It would be really useful to be able to convert a discussion to a new task. Quite often discussion leads to something that should be done or customers are posting requests as discussions, although they should be tasks. (You just can't handle them... ;)

    What should happen on conversion?
    a) a discussion with all comments is removed and turned to a task or issues
    OR
    b) a discussion gets a comment with a task/issue smart link appended to the description and the last comment and a new task/issue gets a link to a discussion in its description on conversion?

  16. When assigning a Task to a user, if that Task contains subtasks then all subtasks are assigned to that user also.
